e-Banking App Operations Manager (12-month contract)

Our client is looking for a candidate to manage the strategic operations, data-driven optimisation, and cross-department collaboration of the Bank's e-Banking app to enhance user engagement and drive innovation.

Job Summary:

• Responsible for the strategic and operational management of the Bank's e-Banking mobile application.
• Develop and execute annual app operations plans, including online and offline campaigns.
• Analyze user behavior data using SQL/Python to optimize app performance and drive improvements.
• Manage product operations, monitor feature usage rates, and oversee user feedback loops.
• Collaborate with R&D and compliance teams to enhance app features while adhering to regulatory standards.
• Conduct competitor research to identify innovative strategies and explore AI applications for user engagement.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Computer Science, Marketing, or related fields.
• 3–5 years of experience in banking or fintech operations with a proven track record in campaign planning.
• Proficiency in Tableau/Power BI and basic data analysis skills using SQL.
• Familiarity with Hong Kong e-banking compliance requirements.
• Ability to identify user needs through data analysis and design commercialization pathways.
• Experience leading at least two full-cycle operations projects and working in cross-cultural environments.
• Preferred: Experience with banking apps, operational models, or AI projects (e.g., machine learning, intelligent recommendation systems).
