Sales/Trade Operations – Investment Banking

Our client, a global investment bank seeking a candidate for their Sales/Trade Operations team. Successful candidates will have experience of investment banking supporting the sales and trading teams, ensuring smooth trade execution, operational efficiency, and trade processing

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting daily trade flow
• Monitor trade activity for accuracy and resolve discrepancies with traders, sales teams, clients, and counterparties.
• Perform daily reconciliations of positions, cash flows, and P&L reports.
• Act as a point of contact for client inquiries and operational support.
• Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements or automation opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (risk, compliance, IT) on projects and system enhancements.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in sales/trade operations within financial services.
• Experience of handling daily trade flows and trade booking
• Strong knowledge of financial products (equities, fixed income, equity derivatives).
• Proficiency in trade processing systems and advanced Excel skills; SQL/VBA is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
