Security Lending Trade Support (12-month contract )

Our client is looking for a Security Lending Trade Support. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the smooth execution of security lending trades across APAC markets while ensuring operational excellence and risk management.

Role & responsibilities

• Support daily security lending trade processing, settlement, and position monitoring for APAC markets.
• Ensure accurate books and records while managing risk exposure effectively.
• Conduct reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and prepare operational reports.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external clients to enhance collaboration.
• Identify system gaps and work with IT teams on enhancements and testing.
• Streamline existing processes to improve controls and efficiency.

• Strong functional and product knowledge in financial operations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client-facing interactions.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage challenging situations, and collaborate as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
• Analytical thinking with initiative and creativity to drive long-term solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Sciences, or Business/Management.
• 1–5 years of relevant experience in financial services or operations.
• Proficiency in presentation skills and client-facing roles.
• Experience as a Business Analyst is advantageous.
• Technical knowledge (e.g., VBA, Python, Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
