VP, FICC Middle Office/ Trade Support, Investment Bank

We are looking for a native mandarin speaker to lead a seasoned team of FICC middle office professional for a market leading investment bank

Responsibilities

• Provide trade support and manage the end-to-end trading lifecycle across Fixed Income, Credit, Rate and Commodities products and related derivatives, including exotic products.
• Ensure the accurate and timely capture, allocation, settlement, and regulatory reporting
• Perform daily reconciliations of cash, trades, and positions with prime brokers, custodians, and counterparties; promptly investigate and resolve discrepancies and settlement issues.
• Supervise the daily activities of the team and serve as an escalation point for high-risk exceptions, ensure
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and implement process enhancements and risk mitigation initiatives
• Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and internal policies pertaining to middle office operations. Act as a point of contact for audits and regulatory inquiries.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant discipline
• At least 8-10 years of experience in middle office/ trade support from an investment banking/ global markets background
• Strong understanding of FICC products
• Track record in managing internal stakeholders with managerial experience and strong leadership
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in spoken and written English and Mandarin
