KYC Specialist (Name screening) | Bank (1yr up to 35k)

A leading bank is currently hiring multiple KYC specialists. Candidates with at least two years covering KYC/CDD/Client onboarding within a bank will be highly preferred. Client coverage should be corporate/institutional/SME clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive account opening leads from diverse sources like online platforms and Relationship Managers.
  • Conduct KYC procedures and arrange account openings for prospective corporate clients.
  • Conducting name screening and proceed with enhanced CDD when required
  • To input data into KYC system for screening and resolve name hit
  • Verify the legitimacy of business activities and obtain relevant proof.
  • Perform enhanced due diligence tasks when necessary, such as establishing Source of Wealth.
  • Identify and report potential fraudulent applications promptly.

Key Requirements:

  • Min 2 years experience in KYC/CDD/Client onboarding
  • Client coverage should be corporate/institutional/SME clients
  • Customer-centric mindset with strong analytical and logical thinking skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication abilities with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Fluency in English and Cantonese; proficiency in Mandarin is highly preferred.
