Hedge Fund Operations Associate/Manager

This is a long/short equity hedge fund with a global outlook.

Responsibilities

Ÿ Responsible for performing daily/periodic hedge fund operations. This will include trade booking, reconciliations, cash management, settlement, corporate actions, proxy voting, pricing, NAV, P&L production, audit, etc. and risk analytics and reporting tasks.

Ÿ Reconciling trading positions with trading counterparties and prime brokers.

Ÿ Liaise with external stakeholders such as brokers, OMS/PMS providers, fund admin, etc.

Ÿ Coordinate with internal teams (i.e. traders, investor relations, risk, compliance) for various work on a daily basis.

Ÿ Automate and streamline operational processes using relevant technologies and

software.

Ÿ Ensure the operating procedures are adhered to regulatory requirements and company policies.

Ÿ Responsible for system enhancement / establishment for existing products / flows.

Ÿ Provide support to the company with regards to new products and new businesses.

Ÿ Take up ad hoc projects as assigned.

The qualified candidate

Ÿ With a university or above degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field.

Ÿ Experience in hedge fund operations/asset management operations with 2- 9 years experience. Candidates with less experience will be considered for Operations Associate

Ÿ In-depth knowledge of investment fund structures, strategies, and regulatory requirements.

Ÿ Experience with OMS/PMS (Eze Eclipse, Broadridge, Enfusion, etc).

Ÿ Familiar with elements of trade life cycle and resolution of cash equity trade settlement issues.

Ÿ Ability to work independently and manage his/her own tasks.

Ÿ Excellent problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
