AVP - Global Markets Business Manager

Our client is looking for a strong business management candidate with a proven track record in the investment banking industry.

Candidates will be responsible for driving strategic business execution initiatives across fixed income trading, infrastructure and risk and control. You will also be responsible for supporting front office sales and trading teams in their delivery.

  • Drive cross-functional transformation initiatives including strategic business development, regulatory change, and process/infrastructure optimisation.
  • Provide proactive support to front office sales and trading
  • Manage and risk and control
  • Champion business continuity
  • Identify opportunities to improve organisational processes supporting business growth and cost efficiency

Requirements

  • Experience working in a business management or COO function within investment banking
  • Strong knowledge of fixed income trading and products e.g. rates, FX, treasury
  • Proven track record working with front office teams including sales and trading
  • Self-motivated, proactive and able to work with a considerable degree of autonomy
  • Solid stakeholder management skills and proven track record to engage senior stakeholders
  • Teamwork and transparency mindset with good communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure to deliver high-quality outcomes
