Operations Associate (Programming Required)

This is a top performing hedge fund based in Hong Kong. They are looking to expand the team and add a fund operations team member due to strong performance of their funds

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for performing daily/periodic hedge fund operations. This will include trade booking, reconciliation, settlement, corporate actions, NAV, audit, etc. and reporting tasks.
  • Liaise with both external stake holders such as prime brokers, OMS/PMS providers, fund admin, etc.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (ie. traders, investor relations, risk, compliance) for various work on a daily basis.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Math, Computer science or related discipline
  • Speaks fluent Chinese and English
  • Coding skills in python/ VBA to automate processes
  • Good work ethic; Ability to work diligently under pressure and be proactive
  • Relevant certifications (CFA, FRM, CAIA, etc.) are a plus
  • 0 - 6 years of relevant working experience
