A leading global bank with one of the largest customer bases from Japan is hiring for an Analyst, Remittance. We are keen to speak to candidates with 2 years work experiences in handling SWIFT, CHATS payments, and cable operations.

Responsibilities:

• To operate the Communication Terminals
• To check and maintain all records relating to communication system
• To dispatch payment through SWIFT & CHATS system
• To distribute communication messages
• To control Authorised Signature List of other Banks/FI
• To arrange Test Key & perform test key calculation
• To perform Fax Operation
• To provide External Enquiry Service
• To perform Cheque Imaging Checking
• To perform Scanning document works for related Sections
• To perform Mailing Operation
• When the Typhoon Signal no.8 or higher or Black Rainstorm Signal is hoisted or when special projects are undertaken, you are required to stay in or to return to the office until daily job is finished.
• To perform any other duties assigned by superiors.
• Be a team player, support office administration duties when necessary.
• Support various Communication Room duties on payment system control and related operations.
• Handle various means of tele-communication and administration, such as SWIFT, CHATS, FAX, etc., to ensure related operation transaction messages are released on time.

Requirements:

• The individual should be able to handle work independently and judge priority among tasks and make practical scheduling and time management to complete tasks before deadline.
• The individual should be able to effectively negotiate with his/her external/internal counter-parties to executive regular tasks.
• He/she should respect for, and commit to high standards of business conduct and integrity.
• University degree or equivalent.
• 2 years experience in Banking Operation and 1 year experience in handling of SWIFT and CHATS payment dispatch, preferably with experience in Fax, Telex or Tele-communication Room operation;
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Cantonese.
• Willing to work overtime and on shift duty.
