A leading investment group is hiring for an Assistant Manager, Operations Process Development.
We are keen to speak to candidates with 4 years of operations/ middle office/ trade support experiences, along with hands-on experiences on technical coding (Python / SQL / VBA).
Responsibilities:
Analyse and design business process models for new products and change projects
Independently Identify and propose solutions on gaps / inefficiencies identified during Ops process review and build solutions to bridge them using IT Tools.
Liaise with stakeholders & support functions across Business verticals to gather & document their requirements.
Assist the operations line managers and teams in documenting their requirements around new and changed business process
Work with Technology teams to impart operations requirements for systems and new business process flows
Provide learning sessions and training to operations teams on Products used in Retail Banking / Wealth Management / Investment Banking
Assist in the preparation of operations responses to the New Product Approval process
Liaise with and assist change delivery and operations teams in responding to and organising project task delivery.
Requirements:
Candidates should have a minimum of 4 years of Investment Banking - Back office / Operations experience.
Demonstrated experience in Business Process analysis and technical implementation
Should be able to review Operation's As-Is processes and independently carry out automation of such manual tasks with an aim to streamline the operations processes and improve process efficiency
Prior work experience on driving process improvements through automation test tools will be preferred
Technology coding skill sets: Required: Python / SQL / VBA – Good to have: JAVA, C, C#
Demonstrated experience in analysis and problem solving
Control orientated and risk aware
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders at varied levels of management
