We are hiring for a Japanese Speaking Associate - Equities Trade Support. We are keen to speak to candidates who are native/ fluent in Japanese, knowledgeable with Japan Market and 3-5 years of trade support work experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with sales traders / clients to ensure accurate & timely creation of new client accounts
• Provide Japan-based resource to ensure the firm is providing high levels of operational service to meet all client expectations
• Pro-actively monitor confirmation & settlement reports to enable resolution of outstanding confirmation / settlement issues prior to sales / sales traders escalation for offshore clients
• Perform End of Day (EOD) allocation of orders
• Liaise with sales traders / dealers on the monitoring & reporting of error / facilitation positions
• Resolve and escalate any outstanding confirmation issues to ensure timely resolution and to maximise efficiency of sales traders

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree holder
• 3-5 years Trade Support / Middle Office experience for Japan market
• In depth knowledge of Japan market rules and regulations
• High level of computer literacy, including advanced excel skills and knowledge of Order Management Systems. The capability to learn new systems quickly is essential.
• Ability to work dynamically with a number of different teams and deliver results
• Confidence and maturity in communicating with internal and external clients at all levels
• Ability to work within tight time frames to achieve objectives
• Flexibility to respond to changing work demands
• Demonstrates the ability to work as a member of a team or alone on projects
• High level of attention to detail
• Good communication skill
• Native Japanese language level preferred
• Good command of written and spoken English
