Fund of Funds Operations (12-month Contract)

A leading investment management organisation seeks a Fund of Funds Operations Specialist in Hong Kong to enhance operational efficiency and support portfolio management.

Key responsibilities:

As a Fund of Funds Operations Specialist, you will support the investment team by managing operations, cash, and trading processes while driving efficiency and collaborating across teams.

• Liaise with portfolio managers, traders, middle office, and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely order execution and control
• Facilitate portfolio rebalancing, asset allocation, investment monitoring, and oversee cash management, resolving reconciliation or operations issues with custodians and external fund managers
• Serve as a subject matter expert to drive operational efficiency and support trading infrastructure transformation
• Support fund evaluation and monitoring by conducting analysis alongside the team head and portfolio managers
• Prepare statistical data for publications, presentations, and marketing materials, and handle ad-hoc tasks as needed

Candidate profile:

To excel in this role, you bring asset management experience, strong analytical and organisational skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and a commitment to continuous professional growth.

• Hold a university degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field, with 3–5 years of financial industry experience, preferably in asset management, and working toward professional qualifications like CFA
• Achieve strategic performance targets by completing all tasks accurately and on time
• Communicate effectively internally with the investment team, AIAT/AIMHK Investment Services, and compliance/legal teams to support fund operations and governance
• Liaise externally with fund managers, custodians, service providers, and other stakeholders
• Demonstrate strong self-motivation, attention to detail, time and project management skills, multilingual proficiency (English, Chinese and Putonghua), and ability to work independently or as a collaborative team member
