Debt Capital Market, Senior Associate (Korean Speaking)

My client is a major financial institution based in South Korea, helping facilitate capital raising, investment, and wealth management for both domestic and international clients. As a Debt Capital Market Specialist, your role will be multifaceted. You will be instrumental in supporting conglomerates and medium-sized corporates, particularly Korean Corporates, in issuing bonds.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Debt Capital Market Specialist in the vibrant city of Hong Kong. This role is perfect for someone who has a keen interest in supporting conglomerates and medium-sized corporates in issuing bonds. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting credit and financial analysis, supporting clients with legal procedures, fulfilling investors' demands, and conducting risk monitoring.

What you'll do:

• Supporting conglomerates and medium-sized corporates in issuing bonds, especially for Korean Corporates
• Conducting credit and financial analysis of prospective issuers to obtain internal and headquarter approval
• Supporting clients in legal procedures, KYC procedures
• Fulfilling investors’ demands by providing supporting documents such as pricing materials
• Conducting risk monitoring by observing market news on a daily basis
• Performing annual reviews on issued bonds

What you bring:

• At least 3 years of related experience in banks or other fianncial institutions
• Good understanding of debt capital markets or Loan Syndication
• Proficiency in performing credit and financial analysis
• Knowledge of legal procedures related to bond issuance
• Capability to meet investor demands by providing necessary documentation
• Good command of English and Korean.
