Investor Sales Director

A global bank is looking for a Director level investor sales candidate who has strong knowledge about products across Financing and Securities Services. This is a hunter role that will focus on seeking out and closing commercially viable, realistic mandates that will provide sustained growth in revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to acquire new Investor Clients (hedge funds, asset managers and insurers)
• Foster strong relationships with key Investor Clients and partners, becoming a trusted advisor and driving growth
• Analyze market data, industry trends, and client needs to identify new business opportunities and optimize sales processes
• Originate and close deals, running a formal sales process from initial contact through to contract signing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, operations, risk) to ensure the successful delivery of Financing and Securities Services solutions
• Achieve and exceed established sales targets and KPIs

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a sales role within the Investor Clients segment, with a proven track record of driving growth and success
• Demonstrable expertise in the Custody, Fund Administration, Securities, or Prime Brokerage product suite, as well as a deep understanding of the Custody and Fund Accounting market in Hong Kong
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage with senior-level clients
• Strong analytic and problem-solving abilities
