A global firm is looking for Front Office Trading Trainees to join their team. Talents with an education background in finance or working experiences in related field are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Present and arrange trades from client orders.
• Manage client relationships by understanding business objectives and underlying products traded by clients.
• Keep up to date with new products, procedures, regulatory requirements for products.
• Identify and develop new business initiatives with existing clients by understanding desk’s business strategy related to market trends.
• On-board new clients and traders by ensuring that standard procedures are followed.
• Generate and increase revenue at assigned desk by identifying cross selling opportunities.
• Solicit feedback from industry participants through different means, including trade calls, surveys, industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
• Support a risk and compliance awareness culture that complies with group policies.
• Demonstrate independent judgement with integrity, care, and diligence to avoid conflicts of interest and escalate issues appropriately.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in business or finance; oversea education background is a plus.
• Experiences in financial services or front office roles are a plus.
• Understanding of the economy and a viewpoint on the markets.
• Language proficiency in Mandarin, English, and preferably Cantonese.
• Communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
• Relationship building skills.
