Key responsibilities

As a Hedge Fund - Trader, you will execute equity trades across Asian markets, collaborate closely with portfolio managers, ensure compliance, leverage technical and market expertise, and contribute to the fund’s growth in a supportive, knowledge-sharing environment.

• Execute equity trades across Pan-Asia and Hong Kong markets on a daily basis
• Provide portfolio managers with market insights, data, and actionable updates to inform trading decisions
• Perform pre- and post-trade checks to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
• Source hard-to-borrow inventories, blocks, and specialised securities to support trading strategies
• Collaborate with the trading team to optimise execution, manage risk, and support fund performance

Candidate profile

The ideal Hedge Fund - Trader is a professional with equity trading expertise, technical proficiency, strong judgement under pressure, and a collaborative, ethical approach that drives team performance and execution.

• 8–12 years of buyside trading experience, preferably in equity markets across Pan-Asia
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, or a related field
• Proficient in coding languages such as Python or C++ to support trading and analytics
• Fluency in English with strong communication skills
• Able to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced environments while delivering accurate and timely results
