Trade Support Associate - Multi Strategy Hedge Fund

This is a multi-strategy hedge fund with strong reputation in the market

Job duties:

• Trade Support
o Direct support of the trading, capital markets, quantitative and fundamental investment teams
o Pre- and post-trade operational controls across multiple asset classes

• Stock Loan/Portfolio Financing
o Oversight of the firm’s daily locate and financing optimization processes
o Sourcing borrow colour and liquidity for portfolio managers

• Process Engineering
o Build new and develop existing processes

• Asset Servicing
o Monitoring of upcoming corporate action events
o Real-time processing of both mandatory and voluntary events
o Researching and summarizing key event details and commercial terms for investment teams
o Collection, submission and tracking of portfolio managers’ elections and liabilities
o Coverage of multiple asset types including equity, CFD, options, CDS and bonds
o Proxy voting

Requirement:

• 2-8 years of relevant experience in Hedge Fund trade support/middle office or Investment Bank

• University Degree in Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines

• Strong coding skills (ie Python, SQL, VBA)

• Ambitious, detail minded with a strong analytical sense

• Excellent language abilities in spoken and written Cantonese and English
