Associate/Analyst (Investment Banking)

A financial institution seeks an Associate/Analyst for its Investment Banking Division in Central Hong Kong, offering career growth, comprehensive training, and exposure to high-profile transactions and strategic client deals.

Key responsibilities

As Associate/Analyst, you will support high-impact transactions, perform financial analysis, prepare deal documents, and collaborate with clients and stakeholders.

• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, due diligence, and industry research to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for client transactions
• Support transaction execution by preparing pitch books, information memoranda, valuation models, and client presentations
• Assist senior bankers in coordinating deal processes with internal teams, external advisors, legal counsel, and regulators
• Contribute to business origination and client engagement by participating in meetings, providing insights, and supporting marketing initiatives
• Ensure compliance, manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines, and collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality service

Candidate profile

To excel in this role, you bring Big 4 Transaction Services or Audit experience, a finance/accounting background, bilingual fluency, strong analytical and interpersonal skills, and the ability to deliver accurate results under pressure.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 1–5 years of experience in Transaction Services or Audit at a Big 4 firm
• Proficient in English and Chinese
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
• Able to perform effectively under tight deadlines and high-pressure environments
