RM / SRM (China Corporates) - Foreign Corporate Bank

A leading financial services institution seeks a RM / Senior Relationship Manager (China Corporates) in Hong Kong Island to manage Mainland clients, deliver tailored solutions, and drive lasting partnerships.

Key responsibilities

As RM / Senior Relationship Manager (China Corporates), you will drive growth by managing Chinese corporate clients, delivering tailored banking solutions, ensuring prudent risk management, and strengthening long-term partnerships.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities while expanding and strengthening the existing client portfolio to achieve strong KPIs
• Ensure a high-quality loan portfolio through thorough credit assessments of China Corporate clients, including SOEs and POEs
• Prepare and recommend credit proposals, securing approvals for customise financing solutions that meet new and existing client needs
• Promote a full range of banking products, including treasury and wealth management, to deliver comprehensive solutions

Candidate profile

To excel in this role, you bring strong experience managing Chinese corporate clients, strong financial analysis skills, excellent stakeholder engagement, and a results-driven, inclusive approach.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CFA are strongly advantageous
• 5–10 years of proven experience in corporate banking, preferably managing Chinese corporate clients
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Sales-oriented with strong expertise in credit analysis, risk assessment, and credit writing
• Excellent planning, organisational, and multitasking abilities to manage complex client portfolios
