Accountant/ Junior Accountant

This is a leading hedge fund that is currently expanding the team. They are currently hiring for an accountant to support their financial accounting and reporting.

Accounting & Financial Operations:

• Oversee daily financial and accounting functions, including monthly bookkeeping, claims organization, and managing financial records.
• Prepare and review monthly management reports, including consolidation processes, P&L, and cash flow projections
• Conduct short-term and long-term financial planning, including annual budgets and periodic forecasts, in collaboration with the operations team.
• Monitor monthly performance against plans and forecasts, report on major variances, and provide actionable suggestions for improvement.
• Collaborate with the Accounting Team to ensure management reporting aligns with group requirements.
• Assist in budget management, internal controls, tax filings, and reporting.
• Support annual audits by working closely with external auditors and handling annual KYC processes.
• Review office and project payments to ensure accuracy and compliance.

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in a similar accounting role
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements
• Proficient in using accounting software, spreadsheets, and other financial systems
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
• A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
