Accounting and Ops Associate

This is a 2bn USD hedge fund. They are looking for a candidate to join their team of 4 in operations and handle corporate accounting and assist in operations.

Your added value

• handle corporate accounting for HK , semi-annual FRR completion
• Supporting the trading team by ensuring that all trades are accounted for and settled correctly
• Reconciling trading positions with trading counterparties and prime brokers
• Reconciling positions, NAV and cash with fund admin
• Monitoring and processing of all type of corporate actions
• Interacting with fund investors for process of subscription/redemption and supporting ODD
• Coordinating with external auditors for annual audit

Preferred profile

• 4+ years of relevant experience gained from sellside/ buyside firms.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical and communications skills
• A good team player and desire to learn and advance within the firm
• Self-motivated, proactive, independent, committed and able to work well under pressure
• Excellent command of bilingual written and spoken English & Chinese
