FP&A/Management Reporting Senior Associate

We have a couple of banking clients which are looking for junior management reporting/fp&a candidates.

Summary Description:
Core responsibility in financial control functions, regulatory reporting and MIS reporting, i.e. HKMA banking returns, financial disclosure, IRD tax return, government surveys, budget, KPIs etc.

Job Responsibilities:
• Maintain proper financial books and records, and ensure compliance with US and HK GAPPs
• Assist department head in completing month-end closing, Head office reporting, MIS and KPIs
• Assist department head in completing regulatory reporting on HKMA banking returns and surveys
• Actively participating in finance platform enhancement projects and ad hoc reporting matters
• Supervise and review daily work of the finance operations
• Perform financial control functions and KPIs analysis
• Serving as relief for finance team members in carrying out reporting functions as and when required
• Assist department head in budgetary setting process and RM scorecard calculation
• Get involved in system UAT related to related to regulatory reporting
• Liaise with Internal and External auditors

Requirements:
• Degree holder of Accounting or related disciplines, minimum of 5 years work experience gaining a career portfolio in
financial institution
• Proficient in PC with good working knowledge of Excel & Word
• Good team player who is articulate, self-motivated and able to work independently under demanding reporting
timelines
• Meticulous and able to meet demanding timelines
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
• CPA qualification is an advantage
