We are looking for a Safety Manager to join the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and drive the HSE strategy in alignment with business objectives and champion all HSE initiatives, plans, and campaigns.
  • Oversee all HSE activities and performance across the APAC region.
  • Administer and maintain the HSE Management System, including statistics, records, reporting, and documentation.
  • Ensure service/business line leaders, project managers, and department heads are fully informed of their statutory, corporate, and contractual HSSE obligations.
  • Develop, review, and implement HSSE policies, procedures, and safe systems of work.
  • Promote HSE awareness and ensure compliance with company standards and legal requirements.
  • Identify deficiencies in equipment, processes, and operating procedures, and advise management on corrective actions.
  • Lead and participate in accident reporting, investigations, and root cause analysis, and ensure timely reporting to management.
  • Obtain and coordinate specialist HSE advice when required.
  • Participate in management HSE meetings and contribute to decision-making processes.
  • Review and advise on contractual HSE requirements, including client and subcontractor obligations.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor HSE action plans for operations and projects.
  • Organize and conduct internal HSE audits and coordinate external audits as required.
  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver HSE training, inductions, drills, and awareness programmes.
  • Liaise closely with line managers to identify HSE non-conformances and eliminate actual or potential hazards.
  • Maintain effective liaison with clients and internal departments on HSSE audits, performance, and contractual requirements.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including management, employees, clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies, on all matters relating to HSE obligations and performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related disciplines
  • Preferably Registered Safety Auditor of Labour Department
  • Excellent command of English & Mandarin
  • Good communication and analytical skill
  • Self motivated and able to meet deadlines
