EHS Manager / AM - Chemical Factory

I am helping a well-known authority to hire an EHS Manager/AM for their chemical factory setting and operation.

Job Duties:

• To create and carry out strategic strategies for managing a chemical goods manufacturing factory, including facility and infrastructure of specialty gases and chemical delivery systems, ultra-pure water systems, clean-room and waste water reclamation systems, as well as a comprehensive Facility Control Management System.
• Make sure the project is completed effectively, adhering to strict budgetary requirements, timetables, and safety and quality requirements.
• Manage the day-to-day administrative and project documentation duties, making sure that all details are correct, that defined procedures are followed, and that stakeholders are communicated with effectively.
• Conduct routine evaluations of specialized systems to make sure all the setting can meet the safety guidelines and legal requirements.
• Provide direction to ensure optimal service delivery, cost-effectiveness, and standard compliance. Supervise the Service Provider to ensure efficient maintenance, operation, and control of specialized systems and dangerous commodities activities.
• Retain control over the approval procedure for facility designs and layouts, making sure that international standards and health and safety laws are strictly followed.
• Overseeing workplace examinations, safety audits, and security evaluations to guarantee a law-abiding and safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years’ working experience, candidates with less working experience may be considered as Assistant Manager
• Experience in operation and maintenance of microelectronic fabrication or laboratory projects is preferred
• Experience in planning, risk assessment, design, and operation of dangerous goods
• Knowledge of statutory requirements and procedures for development projects in Hong Kong, including familiarity with government procedures.
• Prior maintenance experience in factory, plant, or laboratory settings is highly preferred
• Higher education or professional qualifications with less experience will also be considered
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English, Mandarin and Chinese
