We are seeking for an EHS Manager for a large scale manufacturer for their plant in Hong Kong.
Responsibilities:
Assists Operation manager in the development, implementation and administration the site’s EHS policies and procedures, in accordance with applicable Hongkong law, regulation codes, and rules.
Establish and maintain EHS Management programs at the plant level, and coordinate all the functions to keep the system continually improving.
Coach the champion of each safety standard in the factory and implement internal audits to ensure the smooth progress of each safety standard.
Cause analysis and corrective measures are carried out on the relevant departments of various EHS audit non-conformance organizations.
Organize the investigation of various incidents or accidents involving environmental health and safety in the factory, and prepare the investigation report, submit the accident prevention and treatment plan to operation manager, and track and verify the approved action plan.
Develop the training programs at plant level for making sure emergency response mechanisms are functioning effectively. i.e. Lockout/Tagout, Ladder Safety, Confined spaces Emergency response plan, Evacuation/rescue drill, First-aid training, Accident/Incident analysis, etc.
Receive all kinds of inspection work of government departments at the factory level, and complete the reports required by various government units, and implement rectification measures.
Update all the system files of ISO 14001/ISO45001 certifications. Perform internal audit and prepare for annual audit every year. Follow up all the corrective actions.
Complete the completion of various SG EHS reports in the responsible factory area on time and as require.

Follow and implement APAC team’s request/guidance and other necessary reports.
Qualifications:
Bachelor/Master’s degree, major in Environmental/Mechanical/Safety Engineering or relevant.
5+ years in EHS fields, experience in manufacturing field is a plus
Familiar with EHS tools and standards; Good knowledge in Equipment and facility is preferred.
Good level of English speaking and written skills.
Good communication skills and work independently under pressure.
Influencing and learning ability, sense of responsibility.
