Assistant Manager - Asset Management (International Projects)
My client is looking for an AM to join their International Property team to engage in various asset management and development of their oversea projects.
Responsibilities

Collaborate with offshore regional offices and potential investment partners to advance asset management and development initiatives. This includes overseeing project management, monitoring portfolio performance, benchmarking results, and assessing value-enhancement opportunities.
- Support the execution of development projects by contributing to feasibility studies, financial modeling, budgeting, scheduling, consultant coordination, and overall project delivery to ensure timely and effective outcomes.
- Conduct comprehensive market research on trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics, leveraging both conventional methods and AI-powered tools to collect, analyze, and interpret data into actionable insights.
- Produce high-quality reports, research briefs, and presentations that deliver clear, strategic recommendations to guide decision-making and support business objectives.
- Work closely with internal teams and external consultants to facilitate the implementation of business plans, development initiatives, and portfolio optimization strategies.
- Provide forward-looking analysis to identify potential risks, uncover opportunities, and formulate value-creation strategies across the firm’s asset base and development pipeline.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Surveying, Project Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Around 5 years of relevant experience in asset management, development management, and/or project management.
- Advanced expertise in Excel-based financial modeling, with a strong track record in feasibility assessments and performance benchmarking.
- Proficient in leveraging AI and data analytics tools for real estate research, forecasting, and benchmarking, with the ability to critically evaluate and refine analytical outputs.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal; proficiency in Cantonese and Putonghua is preferred.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with proven ability to manage multiple projects, assets, and research deliverables simultaneously.
- Strong analytical mindset, capable of independent and rigorous thinking, ensuring outputs are evidence-based and not solely reliant on automated tools.
- Effective interpersonal skills and professional presence, with the ability to collaborate seamlessly across internal teams and external stakeholders.
