Assistant Manager - Asset Management (International Projects)

My client is looking for an AM to join their International Property team to engage in various asset management and development of their oversea projects.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with offshore regional offices and potential investment partners to advance asset management and development initiatives. This includes overseeing project management, monitoring portfolio performance, benchmarking results, and assessing value-enhancement opportunities.

  • Support the execution of development projects by contributing to feasibility studies, financial modeling, budgeting, scheduling, consultant coordination, and overall project delivery to ensure timely and effective outcomes.

  • Conduct comprehensive market research on trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics, leveraging both conventional methods and AI-powered tools to collect, analyze, and interpret data into actionable insights.

  • Produce high-quality reports, research briefs, and presentations that deliver clear, strategic recommendations to guide decision-making and support business objectives.

  • Work closely with internal teams and external consultants to facilitate the implementation of business plans, development initiatives, and portfolio optimization strategies.

  • Provide forward-looking analysis to identify potential risks, uncover opportunities, and formulate value-creation strategies across the firm’s asset base and development pipeline.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Surveying, Project Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Around 5 years of relevant experience in asset management, development management, and/or project management.
  • Advanced expertise in Excel-based financial modeling, with a strong track record in feasibility assessments and performance benchmarking.
  • Proficient in leveraging AI and data analytics tools for real estate research, forecasting, and benchmarking, with the ability to critically evaluate and refine analytical outputs.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal; proficiency in Cantonese and Putonghua is preferred.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with proven ability to manage multiple projects, assets, and research deliverables simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical mindset, capable of independent and rigorous thinking, ensuring outputs are evidence-based and not solely reliant on automated tools.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and professional presence, with the ability to collaborate seamlessly across internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Candidates with less experience may considered for the role of Associate
