I am helping a well-known developer to hire an Assistant Manager (Property Investment & Asset Management) to take care of the Europe Market portfolio.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate real estate acquisition opportunities and manage due diligence process
Perform financial analysis, business modeling and pre-deal and post-acquisition evaluation to provide insights on the profitability, viability and stability of prospective investments; create multiple scenarios for management consideration
Assist in management of overall design development and asset management process from acquisition through leasing, including appointment and management of design team, project planning and budgeting for development projects according to approved business plans and programme
Work with regional teams, third party consultants and agents on leasing, property management, asset management, tax, construction and planning issues
Coordinate with the offshore regional offices and investment prospects to conduct origination, deal execution, development and asset management activities
Provide regular reports and presentation outlining investment performance; maintain relevant models to monitor ongoing project performance and notify any deviations from approved budget and programme
Prepare departmental and property budgets, manage consultant and vendor service contracts, and manage invoice processing and payment
Conduct research on market intelligence, including trading data, market insights, industry trends and impacts of government policy on financial markets to provide the management with a comprehensive view on the industry and market landscapes; maintain internal market database; collaborate with Research team on data and technology initiatives.
Draft investment memos and presentations for Investment Committee for approvals and updates to ensure timely flow of information
Assist in evaluation and development of new market and investment initiatives
Requirements:
Degree in Surveying, Real Estate Finance, Property Valuation, Architecture or related disciplines
HKIS/RICS/CFA or relevant professional membership is an advantage
Strong financial modeling skills, Excel modeling and business acumen
Ability to work with interdepartmental and cross-regional teams
Good communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, ARGUS software, and PowerPoint
Excellent command of English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
