E&M Quantity Surveyor

Electrical and Mechanical Team (E&M) is currently seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to the team for newly awarded project.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in handling contractual and commercial matters of multi-discipline E&M projects and tenders.
  • Review correspondence and give advice on responses regarding contractual matters.
  • Perform periodic review on progress of projects, give advice on potential delays and highlight risk factors.
  • Liaise with external and internal parties on contractual matters
  • Assist Senior Facility Manager and provide professional advice to FM team and client on QS matter
  • Handle all the pre- & post-contract stages quantity surveying duties
  • Handle tender analysis and bidding, tender document administration, material taking off and pricing, measurement of works, valuation of variation etc.
  • Prepare cost estimation, subletting, extension of time claim, certifying payment and variation and final account settlement
  • Preparation, costing and submission of early warning and compensation event notification in line with NEC contract requirements.
  • Ensure detailed records of works are recorded and maintained, that are accurate and auditable and available for submission as required in timeline manner.
  • Measure and value sub-contracts and assist in agreement of sub-contract interim/ final accounts.
  • Review documentation and identify value variations, subcontract payments and preparation of sub-contract liabilities.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying / Engineering or related disciplines;
  • At least 2 years relevant working experience in contract administration of building / multi-disciplinary E&M projects;
  • Strong sense of responsibility, self-motivated and able to work independently as well as a good team player;
  • Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skill;
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Candidates with more experience will be consider as Senior Quantity Surveyor
