Project Manager (Client Side, Data Center)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Project Manager specializing in data center projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the management of data center projects, ensuring they are completed within budget, on schedule, and meet quality standards while adhering to local regulations. Additionally, the role involves drafting, managing, and administering procurement processes for design, construction, fitting out, and renovation projects, addressing design-related issues collaboratively with vendors, operation teams, and consultants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead project management efforts for data center projects, ensuring adherence to approved budgets, timelines, quality standards, and local regulations.
• Manage procurement processes for design, construction, fitting out, and renovation projects, resolving design-related challenges in partnership with vendors, operational teams, and consultants.
• Supervise the procurement process and assess recommendations provided by the appointed project management company.
• Facilitate coordination between various internal departments and external consultants throughout the project lifecycle, from inception to completion and handover to end users.
• Uphold compliance with relevant quality, safety standards, procedures, and other statutory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Preferred candidates hold a degree in Building Services, Electrical & Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
• Extensive and relevant work experience, with familiarity in electrical and/or mechanical maintenance. Prior experience in Data Centre design and construction is considered advantages.
• Demonstrated strong project management and communication skills, with the ability to perform under pressure.
• Knowledge of the Hong Kong Environment Ordinance is beneficial.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
