Claims Manager, Commercial Property and Liability

Our client is seeking an experienced Claims Manager, Commercial Property and Liability to join their business. This role will ensure that all insurance policies effectively protect the company's assets and operations.

About the Role

• Oversee the handling of insurance claims, collaborating with providers on quick resolutions.
• Establish effective processes and guidelines to streamline claims management.
• Conduct thorough assessments of existing insurance coverage to ensure alignment with the company's needs and safeguard assets, liabilities, and operations comprehensively.
• Assess and obtain appropriate insurance policies effectively protect the company's assets and operations.
• Maintain adherence to applicable insurance laws and regulations while monitoring updates that could affect the company’s operations.
• Create and manage the insurance budget, ensuring financial efficiency without sacrificing quality or compliance standards.
• Develop and sustain strong connections with insurance companies and brokers, negotiating favourable contract terms and quickly addressing any emerging issues.
• Maintain meticulous records of all insurance policies, claims, and risk evaluations. Generate and present reports as necessary for executive review.

About the Person

• Degree holder under related discipline.
• Extensive background in insurance management, particularly within engineering, construction, logistics, or relevant industries, whether in-house or brokerage role.
• Strong understanding of industry regulations and compliance standards.
• Exceptional time management skills, coupled with excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly developed analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Familiarity with relevant insurance management software.
• Proficient in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
