My client is seeking a commercially astute, people and results-oriented General Manager to lead the branch business. Reporting to the Managing Director, this role is responsible for driving commercial performance, operational excellence, and team engagement across a business unit.

Resposibilities

Financial Management & P&L Accountability:

  • Own the full P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and revenue optimization.
  • Analyze financial performance regularly and implement strategies to improve profitability and operational sustainability

Leadership and Strategy:

  • Develop and execute local business strategies aligned with regional and global objectives.
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Promote a sense of belonging and team spirit across the organization.

Business Growth & Strategy

  • Develop and implement short- and long-term business plans to drive profitable growth.
  • Monitor market trends and customer-needs to identify new opportunities and ensure business agility.
  • Drive recurring revenue streams and enhance client satisfaction.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to ensure alignment and execution of shared goals.
  • Represent the local business in cross-functional forums and contribute to regional initiatives.

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.
  • Establish regular business reviews and use KPIs and data analytics to monitor performance and guide decision-making.
  • Promote a data-driven culture and ensure decisions are supported by robust analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of managing P&L, driving growth, and leading cross functional teams.
  • Good communication skill
  • Regional exposure will be a plus
