Process/Plants Manager

Oversee biological treatment processes to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with effluent quality standards.

Monitor systems (SCADA, laboratory testing) and address issues such as sludge bulking and nutrient imbalances.

Implement process enhancements and adopt innovative technologies.

Ensure adherence to environmental regulations in Hong Kong.

Lead a team of operators, technicians, and engineers to effectively operate the wastewater treatment plant (WWTP).

Provide training on biological systems, safety protocols, and emergency response procedures.

Collaborate with the maintenance team to supervise preventive maintenance of equipment, including pumps, aerators, and sensors.

Manage operational and capital expenditure budgets, seeking cost-effective solutions.

Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends, presenting data in an easily interpretable format to enhance plant efficiency.

Prepare regulatory reports and deliver performance updates to senior management.

Coordinate with government entities and contractors.

Develop contingency plans for potential system failures or spills.
