A leading organisation in Hong Kong is seeking a Process Improve Engineer / Specialist (E&M) for their data centre operations. This role focuses on driving process optimisation initiatives, ensuring compliance, and enhancing workflow efficiency.

Key responsibilities

As a Process Improve Engineer / Specialist (E&M) (Data Center), you will play a critical role in ensuring engineering operations meet stringent compliance and safety standards while driving workflow enhancement initiatives. Your responsibilities include:

  • Independently review and assess engineering change requests, verify documentation, and conduct onsite checks to ensure approved procedures are followed
  • Identify operational, safety, and compliance risks, and provide clear recommendations and evaluation reports to stakeholders
  • Ensure full alignment with corporate engineering standards, safety requirements, and change governance frameworks
  • Analyse current operational workflows to identify inefficiencies and lead initiatives to improve and standardise processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement, track, and continuously refine improved procedures and quality practices

Candidate profile

To excel in this role, you bring a strong background in electrical or mechanical engineering within facilities operations or data centre environments. Your expertise in process optimisation and quality assurance ensures you can navigate complex challenges effectively. Key qualifications include:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Building Services Engineering
  • 8–10 years of experience working with electrical and mechanical systems in facilities operations or managing engineering change processes in data centres
  • In-depth knowledge of critical data centre infrastructure such as UPS systems, HVAC systems, electrical distribution networks, fire services systems, and standby generators
  • Strong analytical skills paired with excellent documentation abilities to evaluate technical information thoroughly
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
