A leading multinational data centre solutions provider is seeking a skilled Facility Engineer (Electrical). This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge digital infrastructure projects while ensuring operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

As a Facility Engineer (Electrical), you will play a key role in maintaining mission-critical infrastructure within state-of-the-art data centres. Your expertise in electrical systems will ensure seamless operations and minimal downtime for clients.

  • Supervise technical teams during routine maintenance tasks to ensure safety and efficiency across all facilities
  • Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
  • Troubleshoot facility-level and server-level events promptly, preparing detailed reports aligned with service level agreements
  • Coordinate planned maintenance schedules to minimise disruptions and maintain operational excellence
  • Oversee tenant fit-out testing processes, ensuring installations meet required standards before handover

Candidate profile

Your background in electrical engineering or building services makes you an ideal candidate for this role. With hands-on experience in data centre environments, you bring technical expertise and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Degree in Building Services, Electrical & Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience preferred
  • Proven experience in electrical maintenance within data centres or mission-critical environments is essential
  • Strong knowledge of critical systems such as UPS units, generators (gensets), chillers, LV switchboards, and CRACs
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to prepare detailed incident reports aligned with internal policies
  • Effective communication and organisational skills to manage both scheduled maintenance and urgent repairs seamlessly
