Technical Manager - High end residential project

My client is a top-tier developer in Hong Kong. They are currently looking for a Technical Manager for their high-end residential projects.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic technical oversight for property and facilities operations across Hong Kong, while supporting the implementation of new projects in designated regional offices.
• Oversee the performance and regulatory compliance of site-based technical teams, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and best practices.
• Evaluate technical specifications, tender submissions, project budgets, and expenditures to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Act as the primary point of contact for technical compliance matters (PMSA, BMO, DMC) with relevant regulatory authorities.
• Advise site technical managers on complex engineering issues, offering expert guidance and actionable solutions.
• Drive the integration of AI and smart technologies to improve operational efficiency and elevate service delivery standards.
• Participate in regular client and management meetings to facilitate seamless operations and successful project execution.
• Conduct routine site inspections in Hong Kong and Thailand to assess plant and equipment conditions and verify compliance with technical and safety standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Building Services, Surveying, Electrical & Mechanical Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in property and facilities management, including at least 8 years in a managerial capacity.
• Regional experience in property and facilities operations is preferred.
• Professional membership in CIBSE, HKIE, HKIS, or RICS is advantageous.
• Strong command of both English and Chinese.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Highly self-motivated, resilient, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to the Thailand office.
