Associate Director - Facility Management
My client is a well-known developer. They are currently looking for a Director or Associate Director - Facility Management. He/she will take care of a portfolio of premises (shopping mall & office tower) in Hong Kong and China.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the overall performance of local and PRC Facility Management team
- Give direction and assistance to the team's operations.
- Oversee and provide technical assistance for CAPEX projects.
- Regularly updating and maintaining the local team's standard operating procedure
- Support and drive the successful implementation of the corporate sustainability initiative;
- Managing the budget and ensuring adequate funding is available for long-term building asset repair/replacement planning, maintenance, and capital expenditure projects; and carry out subsequent control;
- Plan, implement, and review energy conservation measures for the premises;
- Being the Subject Matter Experts to share experience and practical practice in pertinent subject matters to improve and enhance the team's overall technical competence;
- Assist with departmental planning and management tasks.
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Construction, Engineering, Facilities Management or a related field; or equivalent
- Chartered professional and possess recognized corporate membership of relevant professional bodies, e.g. HKIE, CIBSE, MIMechE, etc., or relevant discipline will be an advantage
- Possess at least 15 years of relevant experience in renovation, A&A, fit-out works and building maintenance, MVAC system operation, at sizeable high-end commercial properties including office and shopping malls
- Well versed with the latest relevant ordinances, code of practices and the best technical practices in the facility management / maintenance industry
- Practical working experience in PRC property management will be an advantage
- Possess strong communication, people management, customer-focused, and analytical skills
- Mature, independent and with strong leadership
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Putonghua)
- Be familiar with MS applications, AutoCAD, building / maintenance information system
- Regular travel to the Mainland is required
