Manager, Facilities Management (Client side)

My client is a well-known listed company. They are currently looking for a facility manager for their mixed use premises in Hong Kong. He/she needs to have experience on leadership, facility management, safety and sustainability planning, sustainability solution.

Responsibilities:

• To ensure that all premises and equipment are operating efficiently, and maintained in optimal condition.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds and equipment to identify areas of attention and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Work directly with sevice provider (vendor) and organize working schedule based on urgency of task.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans.
• To ensure the planned preventive maintenance of building infrastructural equipment and installations are diligently carried out.
• Oversee facility renovation and upgrade projects.
• Ensure that all building defects are promptly identified and made good without delay.
• Develop safety and security plans for facility management operations.
• Implement sustainability practices and conduct energy audits.
• Lead and give clear guildine to direct subordinate and sevice provider (vendor).

Requirements:

• Degree holder, preferably in Facilities Management/Building Services/Project Management/Engineering;
• Professional membership in RPHM, FCIH, HKIFM, HKIH, HKIE or equivalent
• 10 years of relevant work experience in facilities management
• Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance practices;
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills;
• Strong analytical skills with cost control and people mangement experience;
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities;
• Knowledge and ability to read architectural/technical plans;
• Fluent in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
