What you'll do:
As a Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our building material product line in Hong Kong and Macau. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve developing effective sales strategies, building robust relationships with key industry players, providing technical guidance to customers, collaborating with our marketing team on targeted campaigns, analysing market trends for informed decision-making, monitoring project pipelines for future demand forecasting, and ensuring adherence to company policies.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to increase the specification and adoption of our building materials product among developers, architects, designers, processors, facade contractors, main contractors, sub- contractors in Hong Kong and Macau
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the construction, architecture, and real estate development industries in both markets
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to customers on the selection, performance, and installation of our diverse range of building materials products
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and educational materials to promote our building materials solutions
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs in both regions to inform product development and sales initiatives
- Monitor project pipelines, forecast future demand, and report on sales performance metrics for the Hong Kong and Macau markets
- Ensure all sales activities adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Sales Manager position brings a wealth of experience in building materials sales or technical sales, with a strong focus on specification and working with developers. You will have a bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering or a related technical field, and a minimum of 5 years' experience in the industry. Your detailed knowledge of building codes, glazing standards, and performance requirements for building materials products will be crucial to your success in this role. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are essential, as is proficiency in using CRM software and data analysis tools. Fluency in English and Cantonese is required, along with a willingness to travel within Hong Kong, Macau, and the surrounding region.
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering or a related technical field
