Project Design Engineer (Oil &Gas, 5 day)

We are seeking an experienced mechanical professional to oversee all preventive and corrective maintenance activities for a plant.

  • Responsibilities:

    • Assist project manager from project design, execute to handover. On behalf of Client to execute the project on site not only quality but also control the schedule and cost.
    • According to the conceptual design from client, communication with Design Institute to complete the detail design with reference requirements (standards, specifications, regulation, etc.) and get the design approval from the client.
    • Coordinate with client & contractor for project execution. Report project progress from time to time.

    Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor degree or equivalent level in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, preferably with experience in oil or gas industry
    • Minimum 5 years related working experience.
    • Good knowledge of Engineering Quality control, Cost control and Change management skill and Schedule management.
    • Fully conversant with relevant techniques, able to select the most appropriate technique and can advice and train the teams members.
    • Good knowledge of national and/or international code, standard and regulation
    • Proficient in both written and spoken English, Cantonese and Chinese
