Mechanical Engineer (Oil & Gas, 5-day, 30-40K)

We are seeking an experienced mechanical professional to oversee all preventive and corrective maintenance activities for a plant:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all mechanical maintenance operations for a plant (office role, occasionally visit the plant)
  • Supervise and coordinate with team members in the plant and external contractors
  • Prepare safety analyses and perform corrective maintenance tasks
  • Collaborate closely with a Planner on maintenance planning and inventory management
  • Maintain strong relationships with external vendors and contractors
  • Perform various ad-hoc tasks as required by management

Requirements:

  • Degree in an engineering discipline (preferably mechanical)
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in processing plants, power generation, or oil/gas industries
  • Proven experience in hands-on maintenance supervision
  • Professional engineering certification advantageous
  • Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (e.g., SAP)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Well-organized, independent, responsible, and willing to learn
  • Fluent in English and Chinese (written and spoken)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
