Fire Services Engineer (Data Center project, 5-day, up to 45K)

We are looking for Engineer / Senior Engineer candidates for a new data center project

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing technical documents such as shop drawings, material submissions, statutory compliance forms, installation methods, and project schedules specifically for fire services
• Oversee site operations, material inspections, work quality checks, and Terms & Conditions related to fire services installations
• Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards
• Communicate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors on-site to address queries and provide explanations
• Provide solutions for on-site issues and participate in all project-related activities
• Attend all site meetings and activities

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma, or Degree in Fire Services, Building Services, or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in an Electrical & Mechanical (E&M) contractor firm
• Experience in new build projects, particularly coordinating with Fire Safety Department (FSD) for fire services inspections
• Prior experience in data centre projects is an advantage
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to effectively collaborate with main contractors
• Knowledgeable in preparing cost estimations and Value Optimization (VO) applications
• Proficient in spoken and written Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese
