(Senior) Mechanical Engineer (Client, Data Center, 5-day)

This role requires expertise in analyzing system performance data to predict and prevent potential failures, manage capacity effectively, and optimize energy usage.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conducting comprehensive data analysis to anticipate and mitigate system failures
  • Implementing efficient capacity management strategies for critical components
  • Developing and maintaining robust change management procedures to ensure operational continuity Establishing and refining standard operating procedures across multiple sites
  • Rapidly restoring system operations following failures and conducting thorough root cause analyses
  • Supporting internal and external audit processes to maintain compliance with industry standards

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, preferably including 2 years in mission-critical facilities
  • Experience working in service provider environments
  • Strong proficiency in both English and Chinese languages
  • Experience with ISO 45001 / 50001 Implementation (preferred)
  • Excellent Chinese (including Cantonese) and English communication skills
