Assistant Project Manager / Project Manager (Building)

Our client is looking for a experienced Project Manager to join their team.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of assigned projects, ensuring alignment with company policies.
  • Monitor project performance, including subcontractors, and address issues that arise during or after project completion.
  • Effectively communicate, implement, and enforce company policies within the project team to ensure compliance.
  • Identify potential construction challenges, implement preventive measures, standardise processes, and introduce innovative techniques for selective construction activities.
  • Review, provide guidance, and resolve contractual and technical matters while offering feedback on subcontracts related to the projects.
  • Lead internal project review meetings with the team and report performance updates to the Senior Manager.
  • Develop, manage, monitor, and maintain project budgets, schedules, resource allocation plans, quality standards, environmental considerations, and safety protocols in line with company requirements.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, and consultants to ensure smooth project execution and performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Building, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related construction discipline.
  • Membership in HKIA / HKIE / HKIS / HKICM or equivalent is preferred.
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven ability to foster teamwork and independently resolve project-related challenges.
