Project Manager - Senior Manager (Design)

I am helping a well-known architecture firm and developer to hire a Project Director (design and project management). He/ She will mainly manage office and hotel projects, focusing on the architectural and interior design aspects.

Responsibilities :

• Work independently to manage and supervise internal/external parties on the plans of design activities running with the development of various commercial and hotel projects in Hong Kong
• In charge of the project manager on the project renovation and design work
• Manage the design process not limited to landscape design, construction and handover of projects
• Faciliate design management, project planning, cost & budget planning, procurement management and closeout procedure
• Provide direction to related parties so as to ensure the project is completed on time within budget and with good design quality
• Ensure all disciplinary designs are well coordinated and achieved the expectation of the endorsed design
• Coordinate with various stakeholders both internal and external, including government departments to ensure smooth completion of the assigned projects
  
  

Requirements:

• Degree in Architecture, Interior Design or other related disciplines
• HKIA / HKIS / HKIE / IMechE or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years relevant work experience with property developers or consultancy firms
• Conversant with local practices, regulations and statutory procedures
• Good communications skills in written and spoken English and Chinese
• A good team player with strong management, communication and problem-solving skills
