Project Manager (Design, Developer, Architecture)

Our client is a major developer in Hong Kong, they are looking for a Design and Project Manager for their projects:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and provide constructive feedback on design proposals, ensuring alignment with budgets and compliance with legal requirements.

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, monitor progress against milestones, and collaborate with QS consultants for budget preparation and cost control.

  • Facilitate consultant appointments, prepare contract documents, and oversee tender evaluations to ensure quality and adherence to schedules.
  • Oversee construction activities, including reviewing submissions and conducting site inspections to maintain quality standards.
  • Project Handover & Closeout: Manage project documentation, analyze claims, coordinate handover processes, and address post-handover tasks such as design improvements and defect rectification.

Requirements:

  • Professional registration (HKIA/HKIS/HKIE/IMechE or equivalent).
  • At least 6 years of post-qualification experience in project management.
  • Strong communication and team-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proven track record in managing projects from conception to completion.
