The role is in the 1st LOD supporting the fixed income business.

Responsibilities:
- Review and coordinate new business initiatives with the front to back office
- Manage operational risk incidents, general operational queries/issues, and specific programs such as the RCSA
- Keep abreast on regulations and rules and ensure compliance within first line
- Participate in new client review and ongoing review for existing clients
- Develope and design new controls & processes within first line
- Monitor various risk management reports & controls
- Support regulatory enquiries / inspections / applications, internal audits and compliance testing
- Representing the business on various entity committees and forums

Requirements:
- Solid knowledge in fixed income
- Minimum 8 years of working experience in banks in Hong Kong
- Be able to find balance between commerciality and prudent risk management
- Strong risk management experience gained in 1st or 2nd LOD
- Fluent in written and spoken Mandarin Chinese
- Hold a professional qualification such as CFA, FRM or PRM

- HKMA knowledge/experience is a plus
