Fundraiser, Investor Relations (China Long-Only Hedge Fund)

A fast-growing China Long-Only Hedge Fund is looking for an fundraising professional with at least 5 years of experience to join their expanding team on the ground in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities:

• Travel extensively to visit and connect clients around the globe, especially in North America, Europe and Middle East
• Originate webinar sessions with capital introduction teams and for the Firm's own investor calls
• Actively discover new sales leads in coverage region
• Stay on top of fundraising trends from various industry reports and exchange ideas on team calls
• Regularly maintain client data on meeting minutes and relevant sales materials on Salesforce and present monthly sales activity
• Gather competitors information, including their investors, strategies and track record
• Work closely with the investment team and sales support team to update marketing materials, including but not limited to factsheets, deck and return attribution, and complete any RFP/RFIs

Requirements:

• Degree holder or above
• At least 5 years of fundraising-related experience, with a decent track record
• Fluent English is a must, Mandarin proficiency is highly preferred (higher bar for non-Chinese speakers)
• A "hunter" styled salesperson who is extremely result-oriented and passionate in proactive fundraising
• Strong individual contributor
