Responsibilities:
- Monitor financing costs on cash and swap positions and pay-to-holds in Asia
- Locate hard to borrow securities with Brokers to manage short side liquidity
- Prepare borrow colour and analysis to portfolio managers to assist them in their investment process
- Engage with PMs in regular idea generation meetings
- Work with the Compliance team on applicable regulations and policies
Requirement:
- at least 2-4 years of relevant experience in the sell-side or PM servicing position at a multi-manager hedge fund
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin
- Good understanding of APAC stock markets
- Huge interest in investing with a strong desire to learn
- Great analytical and problem solving skills with a detailed mind
