Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to established regulations and procedures as well as internal reporting standard and guideline
- Ensure expense claim is consistent with GBM/APAC expense policy
- Handle accounting related matters including bank reconciliations, balancing sheets, asset liability control/management
- Prepare and analyse variances on financial and regulatory returns preparation system to ensure all updates are properly accounted for
- Support decision making through financial analysis and interpretation
- Other ad hoc tasks as assigned.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor degree holder in Accounting or other related discipline with minimum 5 years experiences in banking industry
- Fluency in English and Cantonese with excellent communication skills
- Good team player be mature with good communications and interpersonal skills and problems solving skills
- Be meticulous with an analytical, logical and skeptical mind
- Proactive, able to work independently and under pressure
- Good PC skills in MS word, excel, access and PowerPoint
