Key Responsibilities:
- Review regulatory reporting for the bank and BNS Securities(HK) Ltd. with timely escalation and HKMA statutory limits
- Review tax returns to local IRD and the bank and assist in queries from IRD/tax representative relating to Inland Revenue Ordinance compliance
- Support the financial and regulatory reporting functions of all branches in HK
- Maintain a solid knowledge of approved operating/ accounting policies/Regulatory Reporting TOM/ SOX/ taxation requirements and procedures
- Maintain and develop deep client relationships and leverage broader bank relationships, systems and knowledge
- Participate in SOX annual review and attend to statutory audit
- Other ad hoc tasks as assigned.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor degree holder in Accounting or other Finance related discipline with minimum 5 years experiences in financial industry
- Fluency in English and Cantonese with excellent communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of financial and regulatory reporting, accounting standards and Banking Ordinance
- Proactive, able to work independently and under pressure
- Good PC skills in MS word, excel, access and PowerPoint
